memorable sights and travels

continuous truss bridge

this is the Astoria-Megler bridge, Astoria, Oregon. this bridge is a continuous bridge that spans the mouth of columbian river between Astoria, Oregon and Megler, Washington. it is supposed to be the longest truss bridge in North America with its total length of 21,474 ft. i took this photo when we visited Portland, Oregon. we took a weekend getaway, non-chalantly, just before the school term started. it's like a spontaneous way of saying goodbye to summer days, storing up good energy and conditioning myself before i meet up with reality bites again. i remember it was so foggy that day. and up to this day, i still can remember the best bagel i had ever tasted, served with freshly brewed cafe-latte and newly hand picked strawberries we had for breakfast.

heavenly hideaways

this Cannery Pier Hotel is located in Astoria, Oregon. it is so rich in history and luxury that you are almost treated like royalty. its architectural design of steel beams and wooden trusses reflects the history and heritage of the original dock site. the hotel overlooks scenic views out to the nearby lighthouse and Washington. it is built 600 ft into the river and who would beleive that it offers lavish comfort and excellent amenities and services not to mention the upscale boutique and spa!

mission hill estate

finest vineyard

Mission Hill winery estate is situated in the heart of Okanagan Valley wine country, BC. without a doubt, is the most stunning estate to visit in Okanagan. it has a beautiful rows of roses in the garden that guides you through the parking lot. and the wine! i had enjoyed the wine tasting in the shop - from pinot noir to cabernet sauvignon, i am impressed by the estate architecture, i marveled at the vista that overlooks Mount Boucherie, i gazed at the Lake Okanagan....and breathed in the smell of the cellar, it had the hint of berry, plum and currant, sweet spice of cinnamon, and nutty oak. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Lake Okanagan Resort.

oregon coast

The entire coastline of Oregon stretches from North, Central, and North Coast. Oregon Caost is a popular travel destination due to its scenery, wildlife, and history. It offers beautiful lighthouses, beaches, historic sites and outdoor activities.
